Sales Consultant - Job Description
Main Purpose
To deliver the highest levels of customer service with every customer, inspiring and advising them with regards to holiday/ travel enquiries. To maintain this level of service and offer efficient and professional after sales support until the customer returns home. To contribute to the day to day running of the branch in accordance with instructions from branch manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To welcome all customers to the branch with a smile and a positive greeting.
- To effectively question customers and understand their travel needs, recording all information on the Spear Travels ‘Inspearational’ enquiry system.
- To inspire and suggest holidays suitable for client in a professionally presented format
- To follow up all quotes within 48 hours of client receiving them
- To file all enquiries / quotes in Spear Travels enquiry folder and load on to Inspearational
- Observe all reasonable instructions of Management in a timely manner
- Contribute towards appearance of branch whether that be organizing brochures, tidying branch or arranging window materials.
- Maintain a good team ethic by adopting a highly motivated and enthusiastic approach to work and support branch manager
- To ensure personal appearance is in accordance with uniform standards.
- To ensure Branch Minimum standards are adhered to at all times
- Attend and participate in the annual company conference and events as requested by company.
- Attend any training courses identified as necessary for the effective performance of your duties and continuous improvement
- To maintain excellent time keeping and attendance
- Promote good teamwork and excellent working relationships to achieve effective results
- To support the Manager in local community marketing initiatives.
