Travel Sports Consultant

I have a great travel role in Nottinghamshire looking for a big sports fan or experienced Travel Advisor to join their sales team!!

The requirements:
_ Show excellent interpersonal skills, be able to integrate well into a team environment whilst taking responsibility for their own workload
_ Possess excellent organisational and admin skills
_ Have a good understanding of sport in general
_ Demonstrate a proactive approach to their daily work whilst being able to prioritise tasks
_ Ability to build and develop relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
_ Show an outgoing and confident personality
_ Possess good communication skills
_ Demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude
_ Continuously developing their product knowledge and be committed to offering the customer the best

Your responsibilities will be:
Follow up on sales leads
Seek out new sales leads
Developing relationships with potential and existing customers
Set up costings for tailor made tours
Produce own quotes
Follow up quotations sent and close sales
Make sales visits to schools, groups and clients
Any other tasks as may reasonably be assigned

Desired requirements:
Sales experience within the Group Tours market
You must be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills at all levels
Attention to detail
Self-Motivated
Target Driven
Additional Languages spoken would be a bonus
Beneficial requirements:
An interest in travel
Knowledge of the travel industry
Knowledge of any other European language
Experience of working in a sales environment

Salary:
With a competitive salary of up to 21k plus a bonus scheme and company benefits.
Monday to Friday with no Weekends!!
