Trade Sales Director - Award Winning Tour Operator. A fantastic and rare opportunity to work for a highly regarded and well-known tour operator based in London.
Trade Sales Director Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading a highly performing and engaged 'on-the-road' trade sales team, ensuring growth of market share with new and existing agency partners. You will create and deliver the overall sales strategy, ensure agency partner business plans are in placed and reviewed periodically to ensure sales are on track. You will be responsible for representing at company at industry trade shows and regularly meeting with agency partners at their premises across the UK.
Sales Director Skills Required
- Must have extensive sales management experience gained in the travel industry with a proven track record selling in to the independent, consortia and group travel agency sector.
- Track record of leading, developing and building high performing sales teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Flexible to travel regularly, both nationally and occasionally internationally.
Salary dependent on experience and to be discussed on application.
