Our Client is a leading Travel Management Company in the UK. Due to extensive growth within the organisation, we are currently searching for a Business Development Manager to join during this exciting time of success. With a proven track record of Sales within the TMC market, the main focus of your role will involve selling a range of the Client's services into the corporate sector.

You will be responsible for identfying, contacting and securing new business within the target market and drive business forward by recognising new business opportunities.

As a successful Business Development Manager, you will be expected to design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the customer base and achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the Sales team. You will use your strong sales, negotiation and people skills to create new relationships as well as managing and maintaining a sales database.

The successful candidate will have a proven background of sales within Corporate Travel and have a track record of driving sales processes from planning stages to close. You will have a demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.

A sound knowledge of travel management, products and systems are a must. Due to the nature of the role, this position will initially be office based in London.
