THE JOB
Working for one of the leading travel add on providers, our client is looking to hire a Business Development Manager who will develop and win new business opportunities within the UK and International B2B travel market. Working closely with the Sales team and Sales Director you will devise and implement a business development strategy where you will deliver against agreed revenue targets. For this Business Development Manager job not only will you be comfortable being a sales hunter, you will also enjoy networking and seeking out new business through industry events. Naturally as a sales person you will have strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to confidently pitch to business owners and senior management.

Our client prides itself on their technology and therefore being online and technically savvy will certainly have its advantages for this Business Development Manager job. You will come with at least 5 years travel industry experience, with 3 of these years working in business development exceeding sales targets and have a proven background in driving new business.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*At least 5 years travel experience
*A confident sales hunter, having worked in a similar sales role for a minimum of 3 years
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Technically savvy
*Proven track record of winning new business and meeting/exceed sales targets
*Able to establish a strong, strategic relationship with potential new partners
*Hungry for success
