Travel Weekly is the UK’s leading travel trade publication, and connects today’s travel industry in print, online and in person with our weekly magazine issue, website and some of the top industry events including The Globe Travel Awards, Hall of Fame and Agent Achievement Awards.

Working as part of a team the Sales Executive is required to sell online and offline advertising across our media brands Travel Weekly and Aspire.

Key responsibilities

• To achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall team targets

• Managing and developing our existing accounts within your given area, as well as generating new business

• Attendance at Trade Fairs and key industry events – representing Travel Weekly

• Telephone Sales (in-bound/Out-bound)

• Monitoring and canvassing from competitor products

• Possess up to date knowledge of customers and the market

Key Skills

• Excellent sales skills including strong presentation ability

Media sales background a strong advantage, but not essential

• Highly self-motivated and conscientious with proven ability to work independently and under own initiative

• Intelligent and adaptable approach together with excellent organisational skills

• Ability to build long term business relationships both over the phone and in person

• PC literate
