The successful recruitment, development, leadership and management of our people lies at the heart of our success. This Head of Department role reflects our commitment to ensuring that our words are matched with appropriate actions. The person fulfilling this role will be responsible for developing, deploying, leading, refining and improving our People Plan in line with our Group purpose, ambition, values and strategic objectives. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Department to ensure that our people promises are delivered. They will be supported by a strong Human Resources function and Office Manager who will provide appropriate systems, processes, monitoring and support tools.

Within this role, the Head of People will ensure an appropriate balance of responsibility for the development of our people between the personal responsibility of the individual for their own growth and development and the Group's ambition to develop its people with passion and energy.

The Head of People and the People Team are primarily there to stimulate, encourage, support and drive the performance of people and managers throughout the business with a view to enabling our people to be the best that they can be.
