Commercial Account Manager
Commercial Account Manager - TMC - Home Based. An excellent opportunity to join an award-winning and leading Corporate Travel Management Company. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of larger accounts, based in the south of England so are looking for someone with existing TMC Account Management experience, is used to conducting account reviews in person and generating their own MI/data to analyse client spend in order to make recommendations.
Commercial Account Manager Responsibilities
You will be responsible for meeting client in person o gain an understanding of their business and promote products and services through account analysis. You will take a consultative approach to managing the accounts, identifying opportunities for cost saving or improved efficiency within their travel programme. You will identify opportunities to negotiate deals with suppliers including airlines and hotels as well as supporting the sales team when it comes to re-tenders and proposal writing.
Commercial Account Manager Skills Required
- Must have recent experience working as an Account Manager for a TMC / Business Travel Company
- Strong commercial, numerical and verbal communication skills
- Experience negotiating with suppliers
- Experience managing large national or multi-national accounts
- Advance Microsoft skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Commercial Account Manager Package
A basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus car allowance, excellent bonus potential and benefits
