Travel Operations Assistant, Central London, Salary to £24k

This independent luxury travel company is seeking an experienced Travel Operations Assistant to join the team. You'll be enthusiastic and motivated and with a background in reservations within a travel company. The role's priority is to support the sales team's bookings, amendments and documentation. They offer a salary up to £24k plus bonus for this Monday to Friday role.

Travel Operations Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for bookings generated by the sales team.
Assist the sales team with the preparation of itineraries.
Manage client customer service calls
Check confirmations from suppliers to ensure booking and confirmation matches.
Act as the quality control point prior to documentation dispatch
Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels.
To maintain an excellent working relationship with all our suppliers

Travel Operations Assistant Requirements:

Travel reservations experience
Knowledge of Galileo and Dolphin
Airfare and product knowledge
Attention to detail, accuracy and prioritisation
Excellent communication skills
Numerate and experience of Excel
Must have a flexible approach and be able to work on their own initiative.
