Travel Customer Support Adviser
Travel Customer Support Adviser, London, Salary to £24k
We are seeking a travel industry experienced Customer Support Executive for our London based client to support travel trade enquiries. As a Customer Support Adviser you'll be an integral part of a dedicated team who, through excellent customer service, can help the customer and trade member when something goes wrong. Using a range of communication skills, such as email, letters and most often answering incoming calls, you'll support our customers.
Travel Customer Support Adviser Responsibilities:
Ensure that correspondence is registered on the database within 24 hours of receipt.
Ensure that all correspondence is dealt with properly and within the timeframes
To identify any potential court claims, arbitrations or other serious complaints
Advise consumers how they can pursue matters and advise on the options available should the dispute remain unresolved.
Ensure that records are kept of correspondence with clients and members
Provide information and data to Members through visits, presentations, or other events.
Travel Customer Support Adviser Requirements:
Literacy - the Customer Support Adviser will have a high standard of literacy and excellent communication skills.
An understanding of the travel industry codes
Experience in or out of the travel industry of dealing with complaints.
Willingness to learn and get involved.
Patience and calmness under pressure.
Good people skills and telephone manner.
Ability to handle difficult situations.
