We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded travel professional with extensive airfares knowledge to join one of the UK's fastest growing travel businesses based in Cheshire. As a commercial manager you will assist the head of department to work on new projects in order to exceed revenue targets and ensure quality of existing products and services. You will develop and manage relationships with airline stakeholders and support teams, assist with new projects and bench mark against competitors ensuring you remain competitive in the marketplace. If you are a commercially minded manager with excellent negotiating and strong influencing skills with extensive knowledge of the airline indsutry and are now looking for a new company where you can input your expertise to help with the continued success of this forward thinking , dynamic company, we want to hear from you!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Manage the portfolio of key airline accounts whilst building strong business relationships
-Negotiate and contract commercial deals and rates
-Ensure all commercial deals are maximised to exceed targets
-Analyse sales performance of airline partners and ensure the business is up to date with sales performance, issues and opportunities
-Bench mark against competitors
-React to any aviation issues that may arise, and liaise with relevant departments to adopt collaborative working
-Ensure airline tactical offers are promoted in an effective and timely manner
-Checking accuracy/availability of fare products
-Ensure fares are available to customers online and via GDS
- Office based role, Monday to Friday 09.00 - 5.30

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will have previous experience of working within a similar role, whilst having strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness. You will have excellent account management and relationship skills, as well as knowledge of airline contracts and ideally existing contacts within the aviation industry. You need to have GDS experience to an advanced level.
