Reservations consultant required for an initial 12 months maternity cover contract! Do you have travel industry experience and looking for a new challenge, within a busy, successful tour operator? Specialist Travel Consultant required for this successful tour operator in Edinburgh. The key role here is to sell tailor-made, Worldwide City Breaks to clients, whilst delivering the highest standard of service & customer care.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Remain committed to providing the highest standard of customer service, whilst selling Worldwide City Break's to clients, perfectly matching their needs.
- Sell to direct clients and travel agents, via telephone and email with enquiries generated via this company's various marketing activities.
- Use your travel industry and destination / product knowledge to suggest appropriate tailor-made travel.
- Make firm booking, taking payments, always in a friendly & efficient manner.
- Use GDS and an in-house reservations system, daily (training can be provided if needs be).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will be suitably experienced, using their travel industry skills and destination / product knowledge, daily. It is an advantage to have experience in selling Worldwide destinations, city breaks and an advantage to have Galileo knowledge - training can be provided though.

THE PACKAGE:
There is a competitive basic salary on offer here, with commission / bonus is addition. The key hours are Monday - Friday with Saturday's worked on a fair, rota basis, averaging at 39.5 hours per week.
