Head of Health and Safety

Head of Health and Safety - Hotels. Want to be part of the next big thing currently at the early stages of huge growth in the UK? Having already had huge success in Asia, this business launched in the UK this year and has already grown to over a hundred people which will more than triple by the end of the year. We are recruiting a Head of Health and Safety to be based at their amazing offices in the West End of London and to build a team of regional health and safety managers to support the development of standards across the group.

Head of Health and Safety Responsibilities

You will be responsible ensuring there is a single health and safety management system in place across the group of hotels and are aligned to industry standards e.g. ISO 45001. You will provide direction to the business on all H&S, legislative and regulatory compliance matters and chair meetings with operational teams to ensure their hotels are meeting these standards,. You will also have direct contact with hotels to understand whether they are complaint with standards and providing advice on how to improve. In time you will also have responsibility to leading a regional team across the UK.

Head of Health and Safety Skills Required

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• IOSH OR BSC Professional health and safety membership
• Experience working in a large, multi-site and matrix organisation; preferably hotels, restaurants or similar type of environment
• Able to be based in London but flexible to travel nationally as required

Head of Health and Safety Package

A highly competitive basic salary to be discussed on application plus bonus, pension and generous holiday allowance
