Job Details

A large trusted Travel Brand based in London (SE) have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Manager to join their Business Development Department.

The position is to manage Partner schemes focusing on retention and account management. To implement a new strategy, increasing engagement between Members and Partners.

To ensure professional, consistent, and strategic management of all Partners. To work with the Head of Events and Partnerships, Director of Brand and Business Development to develop other commercial partnership opportunities for the Association.

To manage commercial partnership arrangements and partnership budgets.

Duties:

*To successfully manage the Partnership schemes. To include regular engagement to ensure customer satisfaction; identifying issues that arise and devising solutions; and taking a strategic view to anticipate changes that could impact partner relationships. To develop processes for the regular review of Partner satisfaction.
*To liaise with relevant teams, particularly the Member Engagement team, to manage engagement between Members and Partners, ensuring that value is achieved from the partnership.
*To work effectively with teams such as Events, Membership, Financial Protection, Legal and Education to ensure professional and consistent delivery of support, information and advice to Partners
*To oversee the implementation of the Partner plans, expanding it into a strong corporate partner package.
*To actively retain Partners and to ensure ongoing commercial growth and development of the scheme's revenue streams. To support the sales team in the ongoing recruitment of new Partners.
*To manage the commercial relationship with the company magazine (Waterfront publishing).
*To identify and develop new commercial partnership deals, including overseeing commission arrangements for existing and new partnerships, sensitive to the company Member requirements. To negotiate and manage commercial contracts, working with the company's legal team.
*To oversee the budget and renewals process for Partners (working with the Accounts teams and the Partnerships Executive).
*To liaise with the Events team and other colleagues to share opportunities for Partner engagement with the Events programme and other relevant initiatives.
*To develop marketing and engagement strategies for existing Partners, to be delivered by work with the Partnerships Executive. To work with the Senior Manager, Brand to develop marketing activities in support of all other commercial partnership activities.
*To perform other duties consistent with the above as may be required.

The Candidate:

The candidate with the right team fit would be someone down to earth, a good communicator and relationship builder, be able to read body language and an excellent team player. They will need to be more a marketer, be sure of themselves, confident and follow through on their ideas, have an air of authority and be confident in their work.

*Experience of senior stakeholder and client engagement.
*Degree level educated (preferred) and at least two years of experience in a similar account/relationship management role.
*Ability to strategically plan and prioritise a programme of engagement with senior stakeholders
*Experience of designing partnership / sponsorship packages.
*Experience of project management and working with targets.
*A tactful, considered, and professional approach
*Experience in working with CRM systems.
*Understanding of and experience in marketing campaigns and market research processes and analysis.
*Understanding of and experience in budget management.
*Strong inter-personal skills and proven ability to engage effectively with all levels.
*Strong presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*A professional manner and attitude with a passion for service excellence.

Department:
The Brand and Business Development department is the Association's marketing and brand management, communications and commercial development department. Member Services sits within this team which engages in the Member recruitment, engagement, relationship and service strategies.

Salary:
A Salary between £40,000 - £45,000 plus company benefits, is on offer (depending on experience).
