Product Executive

Product Executive - Required for this upmarket niche travel company with lovely officers based in the West End. They are looking for an experienced product executive form the travel industry and will pay around £26,000 + benefits.

Product executives duties
-Explore and vet new preferred suppliers focusing on hotels, luxury villa, private island and yacht rentals/charters
-Reporting to the Head of Product and Partnerships on a weekly basis
-Meet with hotel partners and update the team on the meetings
-Attend after work hotel events as necessary
-Assist the travel sales team with costings of holiday packages
-Assist the travel sales team with suggestions for holiday packages
-Maintain up to date on industry happenings and update global sales team
-Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers/suppliers in order to sell new listing and advertising programmes
-Protect and increase existing advertising collaborators
-Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services
- Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and training seminars in order to gather information, promote products, expand network of contacts, and increase knowledge
- Prepare sales outlines for use by staff
-Consult with company marketing department in order to develop promotional plans
-* Knowledge and travel experience of at least 3 of the following regions; Europe And Scandinavia/ Australasia/ Americas/ Middle East/ India And Indian Ocean/ Far East

Product executive skills required
-Product executive experience
-Confident self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner
-Skill in writing, with excellent grammar and spelling and ability to write copy for villas and hotels
-Excellent attention to detail and a quick worker
- Willingness to learn with a positive outlook
- A passion for travel and a desire to develop your knowledge of suppliers and destinations through desk research, study of specialist consumer and industry publications, industry networking, and regularly update your travel colleagues including formal training sessions
- Strong negotiator
