THE JOB

A global Travel Management company is looking for a 2nd Line Desktop Support Technician in their offices in London. Here you will be working in an elite team of technicians with additional support in the US. Here you will provide 2nd and some 3rd line support to the UK and EU users and infrastructure. Here you will be implementing and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure and data communications.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO HAVE?

*Sound technical knowledge of PC hardware, printers, mobile devices etc.
*Microsoft Windows 10 administration, configuration and support.
*You must have supported Microsoft Office 2013/2016 with Active directory administration and maintenance experience as well as basic Exchange administration experience.
*A sound understanding of TCP/IP networks, WINS, DNS and DHCP with an understanding of Antivirus management.
*Experience in Windows server administration and a Cisco knowledge/qualification as well as a CompTIA A+ or N+ or MCP or similar and knowledge of ISO27001, ITIL, PCI, GDPR standards.
*Security Patch management and ability to produce technical documentation to a good standard and knowledge of remote support tools, e.g. RDP, LogMeIn etc with an understanding of backup and disaster recovery.
