SALES & SERVICE CONSULTANT - £18K BASIC PLUS UNCAPPED COMMISSION (ote £30K)
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Sales & ServiceConsultant to join the Sales & Service Team of this growing business. Working for an award-winning, direct-sell escorted Tour Operator, you will be the first person that customers speak to, so making the right impression is vital. Your key aim will be to convert new enquirers into first-time bookers, look after their travel arrangements up until their departure date, and deliver exceptional service throughout to ensure they come back time after time. You will be encouraged to use your initiative to treat every customer as an individual, so you'll need to be comfortable to develop your own style and work largely without pre-determined scripts. As well as excellent communication skills and telephone manner, as a Sales & Service Consultant you willl have a desire go the extra mile for every customer to ensure that their booking and post-sale experience is second to none.

Sales & Service Consultant - Role & Responsibilities

• To look after clients from the first time they call to the point of travel - offering professional, efficient and polite service on every call
• To listen to clients' requirements and ensure they find exactly the right holiday - as well as personalising it with extensions and add-ons
• To identify and up-sell any elements clients may have overlooked
• To 'own' each booking end to end, ensuring that any pre-travel queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently
• To be the champion of the customer within the business, working with the Product and Operations departments to create a 'never say no' culture and ensuring their specific and varied needs are met

Sales & Service Consultant - Skills & Experience Required:

• Sales Experience, preferably with a travel background
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Professional, efficient and friendly
• Thrives in a target/incentive-driven environment with monthly targets in place
• Tenacious - will work tirelessly to overcome obstacles to deliver the best customer experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ambitious and keen to develop both within the role, and the wider business
