Travel Reservations and Customer Services Manager

Base Salary to £45K + Bonuses and Benefits

My client is a luxury high end river cruise company based in Surrey whose product is focused on the delivery of an unforgettable river cruising experience within Europe, Asia and Africa.

They are now looking to recruit a Travel Reservations and Customer Services Manager to join the team.

Candidates for this role must have a previous supervisory/management experience gained within the travel industry working with a high end travel product and dealing with HNWI’s. This is an essential element of the criteria and only candidates with this experience will be considered.

Travel Reservations and Customer Services Manager Responsibilities Include:

Management of the reservations team, in-house and remote workers, to ensure excellent service levels

Recruit and identify training needs including the ability to upsell

Track and maintain KPIs that ensure optimal efficiency within the department and measure performance accordingly

Monitor and regularly communicate progress to targets for team incentive scheme to motivate, inspire and retain team engagement

Ensure open communications within the team and across the business

Nurture and develop the culture of “personal” trade and consumer relationships to encourage contact with the office

Oversee every booking file to ensure the profitability of all bookings by avoiding errors and minimising reductions (to the booking)

Conduct annual appraisals for all team members in a timely manner

Conduct regular 1 to 1 and team meetings

Travel Reservations and Customer Services Manager Experience Required

Previous management/supervisory experience within the travel industry is essential

Experience working with a luxury travel product and HNWI’s

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent organisation and administration skills

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Good understanding of financial aspects of a business

Travel Reservations and Customer Services Manager Salary and Benefits

Base salary to £45,000 + Bonus depending on experience

20 days holidays + 8 bank holidays

PMI, critical illness, life assurance
