Our client is an award winning and dynamic travel company who offer various cruises & holiday types across the globe to travellers throughout Europe, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Asia, Indian Sub-Continent, Australia, New Zealand plus many more exotic locations. Due to remarkable growth, they are now seeking an experienced German Speaking Travel Consultant to join their friendly reservations team.
This exciting travel consultant opportunity is ideal for an experienced travel agent seeking career progression, a healthy commission structure, sociable working hours and generous benefits.
This exciting retail travel reservations role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
- Creating tailormade travel to an array destinations
- Using your expert European knowledge to convert enquiries into a sale
- Dealing with the discerning clientele over the phone and via email
- Account managing customers from start to finish
- Booking flights, accommodation, car hire, trips, travel insurance, transfers, tours. airport parking and many other travel extras
- Offering a cutting edge customer service
- Participating in events and FAM Trips
- Keeping up to date with new travel products
- Offering advice and recommendations on European destinations
- Dealing with amendments
- Up selling travel extras
- Using the travel database to research travel destinations
- Accurately making travel bookings
To be considered for this role:
- You must be from a travel agency or tour operator background with proven experience of selling holidays to customers.
- Able to speak German & English fluently
- Ideally have experience in using a CRS /GDS flight system, however training will be provided
- Passionate about travel and self motivated
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
