Fares and Ticketing Consultant

Our client, a successful and growing independent travel management company, is seeking an experienced Fares and Ticketing Consultant to join their team in modern offices close to mainline stations in the City. You would be assisting the Business Travel operations team with a variety of tasks.

Fares and Ticketing Consultant Duties:

• Check and process ticket re-issue’s and fare calculations
• Manually build fare constructions such when itineraries do not auto price
• Answer internal ticketing queries by phone and email
• Assist BT consultants with understanding of nett fare rules and restrictions
• Ensuring airlines fares are loaded correctly and liaising with airlines to rectify if not
• Assist Accounts/Operations with ADM inspection

Fares and Ticketing Consultant Skills:

• Proficient knowledge of IATA airfare construction
• Recognised industry qualifications (BA1&2, VA1&2)
• Knowledge of US Ticketing & Commissions an advantage
• A good working knowledge of the GDS preferably Sabre
• Extensive geographical knowledge
