Are you looking for a Travel Consultant role with a difference? Keen to use your travel industry experience and customer service skills but looking for a change from the usual package holiday destinations?
This brand new Villa Bookings Advisor role is based in Loughton, Essex and involves dealing with a mixture of travel agents and direct customers, making and managing villa bookings in the US, confirming flights and ground arrangements and handling customer service enquiries.
The successful candidate will be a GDS-proficient Travel Consultant with telephone based customer service experience and a confident, professional manner and although knowledge of Florida and USA destinations and/or previous villa booking experience would be advantageous, full training can be provided. Our client, a leading independent USA Specialist, is offering a fantastic package including a starting salary of £20k, an uncapped commission structure and excellent benefits including 28 days paid holiday (inc. Bank holidays) increasing for long service, ongoing training, pension, medical insurance, free lunches and team nights out as well as familiarisation trips, holiday concessions and incentives, with no late nights or Sunday working!

Role of Villa Bookings Advisor:
- Taking enquiries from travel agents and direct customers
- Making and managing villa bookings
- Confirming flights and ground arrangements
- Handling customer service queries
- Offering expert advice and recommendations
Skills required for the role:
- Previous experience in a travel sales or customer service role
- Telephone-based customer service experience
- Proficiency with a GDS (Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre)
- A confident, professional manner
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ideally, good Florida and US Destination knowledge
