                                             ACCOUNT MANAGER – Corporate Travel

Account Manager Role & Purpose:

The role of international airline Account Manager is based in London and reports to the Country Manager.

This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The Account Managers are responsible for sales, dealing directly with Corporate customers and Travel Management Companies to achieve sales revenue targets, coordinating and executing sales activities for assigned accounts and building strong relationships between the airline and corporate customers.

Candidates should possess a sound knowledge of the UK market to represent the airline professionally and contribute strongly to the Company revenue objectives. All Candidates must hold a strong Company ethos and be willing to work unsociable hours as required.

What we are looking for:

  • A motivated, target orientated individual with the ability to pro-actively contribute to Company revenue achievement, determine key priorities and manage their workload, meet deadlines within agreed timescales.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills to establish, develop and maintain existing and prospective clients.
  • Business acumen, commercial insight & the ability to determine the value of existing and prospective clients, with a minimum 1 year track record in the travel industry.  
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities are essential. The ability to interpret figures and market trends, in addition to knowledge of pricing and dealing with distribution issues across the market.
  • The ability to think strategically, understand and work well within head office guidelines, negotiate and manage commercial agreements.
  • Excellent level of English, able to communicate convincingly verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills to represent the company at external meetings and events.
  • Degree level education preferred & clean Driving License
