Flight Co-ordinator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an award winning luxury Tour Operator based in York. My client is looking for someone to join their Transport Team as a Flight Co-ordinator , who will be responsible for booking and amending flights , whilst building and maintaining relationships with flight suppliers. There is an excellent basic salary up to £18, 500 , along with other company benefits and the role will be working Monday-Friday 9am-5.30 pm , with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Flight Co-ordinator duties:
· Responding to customer requests to upgrade or alter their flights within strict turnaround times
. Liaising with other teams in the business to ensure a seamless tour experience for customers and responding to queries about flight products and services relating to these suppliers
. Establishing and maintaining a direct relationship with suppliers relating to the brand
. Communicating any flight amendments or problems to Product Services, Customer Services and Sales teams when needed

Flight Co-ordinator skills required:
. Proven experience of working in a high volume and fast paced travel customer focused environment with a strong emphasis on customer service within a Tour Operator, Travel Agency or Airline
. Capable of following written and verbal instructions and possess a clear and concise approach in verbal and written communication
. Able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines whilst exhibiting excellent attention to detail
. Airline and airfare knowledge, especially for groups, would be a distinct advantage
