River Cruise Sales and Reservations Consultant

Home-based - River Cruise Sales and Reservations Consultant - required for an expanding river cruise operator based in Berkshire. The firm are seeking a knowledgeable and outgoing individual who has a strong interest in the travel industry. The successful candidate will be rewarded with responsibilities from day one and a salary of £21,000 - £23,000 + company and individual bonus opportunities!

Sales and Reservations Consultant responsibilities:

• Managing sales leads created from the business' website, email and phone line
• Maximising the potential of incoming enquiries through high levels of customer service and use of in-depth product knowledge
• Preparing and despatching documentation throughout booking process
• Processing payments
• Assisting coworkers with ad-hoc administrative tasks when required
• Collating survey results and customer feedback

Sales and Reservations Consultant requirements:

• 12+ months experience in a sales consultant position in the travel industry
• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage their workload
• Conversational French level or higher (not essential)

Sales and Reservations Consultant benefits:

• Salary of £21,000 - £23,000 dependant on experience
• Company and individual bonus opportunities
• Monday to Friday 12:00 - 20:00
