Head of Supplier Relations

Head of Supplier Relations. A fantastic opportunity to join a top 10 TMC based in London where you will be responsible for managing suppliers across all categories including air, hotels, ground transportation and ancillaries.

Head of Supplier Relations Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for developing and leading a team of 5, negotiating, evaluating and implementing commercial agreements on a local, regional and global basis. Whilst the UK market will be your main focus, you will also oversee European supplier relations and have some involvement with global suppliers in conjunction with the organisations international offices.

You will develop the product portfolio, driving benefits to the customer whilst supporting internal objectives. You will lock in long term partnerships whilst optimising short term tactical opportunities where possible and take an innovative approach to developing the product, distribution and purchasing strategies.

Head of Supplier Relations Skills Required

• Recent experience in a supplier relations role, preferably on behalf of a TMC and strong knowledge of Air and Hotel product
• We may also consider applicants currently working on the supplier side (Airline of Hotels) who are responsible for managing a wider variety of TMC partners
• Experience of leading and motivating a team
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Commercially astute
• Degree educated
• Flexible to travel internationally at times

Head of Supplier Relations Package

A competitive basic salary dependant on experience (to be discussed on application), company bonus, life assurance, 22 days holiday plus b/h and ability to buy/sell an additional 5 days holiday, plus other benefits.
