Junior Artworker

I am currently recruiting for Junior Artworker for a very successful tour operator based in North Surrey to produce digital artwork and design for regional and national press advertisements for the Company's full range of travel products. As well as the creation of artwork for our press partners the role will also assist with brochure production, website imagery, marketing emails, travel agency marketing support and promotional items, mail-shot artwork and any other 'artworking' requirements. This role also provides cover within the company's Print & Despatch Centre (PDC).
THE ROLE;
*Create press partner artwork
*Produce artwork and design for press advertisements, brochure production, website imagery, marketing emails, travel agency marketing support and promotional items, mail-shot artwork and any other 'artworking' requirements
*Support the Production Manager on all projects briefed in by the Marketing Team
*Achieve first-rate visual representations of marketing briefs using creative excellence to translate marketing ideas into creative strategies and designs
*Assist in the maintenance of a central library and resource of digital imagery for use by the Marketing, Sales & e-Commerce teams
*Liaise with Product Managers and external suppliers about the provision of photography required for the Digital Asset Management system
*Build strong relationships with internal contacts and teams to ensure campaign delivery is on strategy and on time
*Provide staffing cover for printing activities within our Print & Despatch Centre
*Create assets for the website, email campaigns and other digital media
*Assist the Marketing Production Supervisor with updating modules, templates and offers for the internal Adworks system
* Assist and support Creative Designers in artwork production for brochures, mailings and marketing material

THE CANDIDATE;
*High level of knowledge of Apple Macintosh Desk Top Publishing, Adobe CS and especially InDesign & Photoshop
*Good level of page layout and design ability
*Able to assimilate a number of tasks and work methodically
*Able to multi task and work flexibly to adapt to changing priorities as demands dictate
*Methodical, creative approach and my attention to detail is imperative
*Work well as part of a team
*Able to cope under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*Able to work quickly and without mistakes due to high level of accuracy
*Able to translate a brief into a finished item of artwork
*Organised

THE PACKAGE;
The salary on offer for this fantastic new position is in the region of £20000 - £22000 plus some excellent company benefits which include pension, season ticket loan, free parking and more…..
