PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - TRAVEL INDUSTRY
CAMBOURNE
£18,000

THE JOB
A well-established travel tour operator is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to be responsible for the reconciliation of supplier statements to their in-house booking system, making monthly payments to ground handlers and hotels in multiple currencies, inputting of overhead invoices into SAGE 200, processing the weekly payment run and loading staff expenses both in GBP and foreign currency.


THE COMPANY
This is a great opportunity for a finance focussed candidate to work for a highly successful travel company at their office in Cambourne.


WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*Travel industry experience would be desirable but not essential
*Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work within a small team effectively and display initiative
*Experience using Sage 200 would be preferable however not essential
*Finance related qualifications would be desirable (minimum Maths GCSE grade C/4 or higher)
*Ability to work to deadlines
*Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
*Confident user of Excel
