Customer Service Assistant
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an award winning Luxury Tour Operator based in York. My client is looking for someone to join their Customer Service team as a Customer Service Assistant , who will be responsible for assisting clients with any queries and amendments/changes to their bookings . There is an excellent basic salary up to £18,890 , along with other company benefits and the role will be working 37.5hrs per week , within their opening hours Monday-Friday 8am-7pm ( shifts within the opening hours) Saturdays 9am-5pm, Sundays 10-4 approx. 3 weekend days per month .
Customer Service Assistant duties:
· Handling telephone calls from potential and existing customers ensuring their needs are met in a professional manner
. Conducting out bound calls, responding to emails enquiries and written communication to ensure customers have all the information they require to make informed decisions and assist with any changes to bookings
. Carry out mobility checks to ensure expectations are met and going through the itinerary to ensure their requirements are handled with care and sensitivity
. Supporting the administration of holiday cancellations and handling account queries
Customer Service Assistant skills required:
. Proven experience of working in a customer focused environment with a strong emphasis on customer service
. Experience of working in a busy telephone environment and telephone experience in relation to inbound and outbound call handling
. Strong interest in travel with good geographical knowledge
. Excellent communications skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
