Fantastic new Travel position!! My client is looking for a Travel Social Media assistant to join there busy office. Are you working in the Travel Industry and do you want a change? Are you currently uploading travel blogs and details onto your companies social media sites?? Have you always been keen to work alongside the Marketing and events team? If so we would love to hear from you!!

To assist with the activities of the Marketing and Events team and to ensure the provision of a high level of service to the members and suppliers.
To be in regular contact with the members by telephone and email to ensure a high level of communication and interaction.
Assist the Marketing and Events Manager in regularly reviewing and enhancing the marketing activity on offer to ensure it is effective, relevant and meets the requirements of the members whilst offering the suppliers a good return on their investment.
*Create all suppliers e-shots and despatch continually looking at ways to improve their appearance/effectiveness by working with the supplier and monitor open rates.
*Collate the artwork for the monthly mailbag and despatch.
*Manage the content and produce the monthly e-magazine for the members, updating the format as necessary to keep it fresh and relevant.
*Ensure any web banners are updated on the member's website in accordance with supplier agreements.
*Oversee the production and despatch of the Luxury magazine
*Oversee the accurate production of any additional marketing activity.

To help develop additional benefits and enhanced services for preferred suppliers to continually improve the communication to members on behalf of preferred suppliers, in addition to their paid for marketing activity.
To assist the Marketing and Events Manager in arranging member events, ensuring it is promoted effectively to members.
For each event-
*Ensure we launch to the members at least 2 months before the event.
*Design a promotional flyer to promote the event to the members and send via mailbag etc.
*Create the artwork for members invite email and despatch.
*Create social media activity and regularly promote to the members.
*Monitor attendees for each event to ensure maximum participation, calling members if necessary to encourage their attendance.
*Prepare meeting agenda and any relevant pack to be given to members.
*Thank you email to suppliers the day after each event.
*Manage the company social media activity by encouraging member's participation and also ensuring regular communication via social media on behalf of suppliers.
*Continually review the use of all social media channels to ensure maximum benefit for members and suppliers.
*To be actively involved in the organisation of the annual company conference. Helping to organise all aspects of the conference as requested plus creating the conference Facebook page and launching the yearly conference Twitter hashtag etc.
*Attending the annual conference in full to assist the Marketing and Events Manager to ensure the smooth running of the conference.
*Working with the Marketing and Events Manager to maximise sponsorship revenue by contacting suppliers by phone/email.
*Assisting to promote the conference to members and contact individually by telephone and email to encourage attendance.
*Build surveys to gain feedback and information from suppliers and/or members as required. Analyse results as requested.

A great package of £20,000 - £21,000 depending on experience with great company benefits and a company pension scheme

Monday to Friday 9pm-5pm - NO WEEKENDS!!
