Lead Agent - Business Travel

A fantastic new role within Business Travel, My client are looking for a Lead Agent for an expanding Business Travel Company, based in the Derbyshire area! If you are at supervisor level in business travel, who as excellent client liaison skills or are you a manager or section manager looking for a new exciting position?? then this is your chance to join a company where the client and also your career comes first! Due to new business acquisition, this business travel company needs a Lead Agent to manage the relationship with key accounts. JOB DESCRIPTION
*Act as the key contact for a selection of accounts
*Ensure a rapport has built with the client and regular contact is made to make sure the client is happy
*Answer and aim to rectify any service issues
*Aim to ensure the account stays within the business travel company, when the tender is up for renewal, because of the good customer service you have offered
*Work hands on as a Senior Business Travel Consultant, booking worldwide travel on GDS
*looking for an all-round qualified business consultant Ideally Amadeus trained and experience with online booking tools
*An individual with a Sales background to obtain new clients for a TMC based in Derby would be preferred
*This role is diverse and will require them to be able to manage and split their time accordingly looking after a large blue chip company and managing day to day requirements to ensure the account runs smoothly.
*Be able to see potential areas for improvement within the work process and increase profit.
*Flexibility is required as will be working within a small team.
*24 hour emergency call required on a rota basis

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The successful applicant will have previous business travel experience, ideally with some previous management or lead agent experience. You will be articulate, with great customer service and a patient approach. You will have solid GDS knowledge, ideally Amadeus.

PACKAGE
£25,000 - £30,000 with additional benefits available. There is realistic career progression here too!
