Aviation Executive

New exciting opportunity, we are currently looking for a new Aviation Executive to come and join our bustling team based in Surrey. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary plus benefits. In this role you will support our sales team in delivering a premium level of service to all customers through knowledge, skills and your experience. You will show a passion for aviation and commitment to growing our existing flight program
The Job:
*Responsible for the full UK flight programme
*Manage flights through Amadeus and airline portals
*First point of contact for: Quoting and booking flights, sourcing group rates and assisting with any fare rule queries, name changes and general amendments
*Supporting with staff bookings and organising familiarisation trips
*Assist the sales team day to day with all aviation based enquires
*Send e-Tickets and add passenger information to flight bookings
*Prepare and issue tickets (Negotiated and published fares)
*To quality check each booking made and prompt the sales team where necessary
*Action Amadeus queues
*Process ticket reissues and refunds
*Update Schedule changes
*Manage all existing relationships with airline partners and explore new partnerships/flight routes where necessary
*Negotiate and manage flight allocations including load factor, inventory management and pricing, ensuring we are profitable and competitive in our pricing
*Update relevant departments with all aviation updates, including availability and price
*Help increase Sales teams flight conversion
*Work towards an annual Revenue goal
*Support our marketing teams in ensuring our online content around flights and airport ancillaries to correct and up to date
*Provide a monthly performance review to the business
*Supporting our global teams where necessary
*Attend weekly trading meetings and review flight routes in line with trading needs
Skills Required:
*A working knowledge of Amadeus
*A good eye for detail - You would need to be accurate
*Be able to build strong relationship with colleagues in other teams
*Passion for Aviation and Travel
*Confident and Self-Motivated
*Be able to multi task and problem solve
*Experience in Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
The Package:
*Starting salary of £24,000 - £26,000
