Junior .NET Developer

.NET DEVELOPER - £30,000 - Whitstable

This amazing travel company are looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join their small yet busy IT team. Rewarded with a salary of £30,000 the successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for developing robust solutions to problems.

.NET DEVELOPER Role Features:

• Help with the ongoing development of current in-house solutions which include a bespoke online booking system with CMS, a website in 5 languages and several API integrations.
• The role primarily revolves around building software by writing code as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new functional requirements or to improve it's performance.
• The .NET Developer will also be involved in system testing procedures and working closely with the IT Manager on technical issues including software design system and maintenance.
• Write well designed testable code & produce specifications and determine operational feasibility as well as debug and upgrade exisiting systems.
• Ultimately, the role of the Software Developer is to build high quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

.NET Developer Skills Required:

• Good knowledge within .NET framework using ASP.NET, C#. MVC, Entity Framework
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with source control and HTML5, CS 3 and JS
• Knowledge of backend development and expeirence writing and integrating with RESTful APIs
• Practical experience with XML, JSON, jQUERY and Ajax

.NET Developer Additional Info:

This is a Monday - Friday role with a salary of circa £30k as well as benefits including flexible pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, travel concessions including villa discounts.
