THE JOB
In this fantastic, newly created travel manager position in London, you'll play an integral part in the growth of our client's internal travel programme. We are looking for a highly experienced and passionate corporate travel professional, who has the ability to build strong business relationships and manage complex travel requirements. In this interesting role, you'll work with teams across the business to understand their travel needs; you'll manage the travel policy and execute hotel and airline strategies, as well as manage key partner relationships and identify cost savings and service improvements. You will be the trusted partner for all travel-related matters, using your technical skills and knowledge to manage the effectiveness of the corporate travel programme.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading FTSE 250 company who provide integrated services on a global scale and require an experienced Travel Manager to join their thriving, London based team.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*Extensive experience in a corporate travel position within a TMC
*Experienced in creating and implementing strategy
*Strong change management and analytical skills
*Excellent travel system knowledge including GDS / OBTs
*Superb communication skills with the ability to build strong business relationships
*Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
*Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
*Demonstrable passion for travel
