Job Details
Job Role:
You will be responsible for reporting on sales activity, organising company events and educational trips, management of the brochure and arranging training for new members of the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver sales reports and provide analysis on these reports
- Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to the sales manager and head of department
- Arrange and coordinate travel agent events
- Provide support to the on the road sales team
- Keep in touch with agent partners throughout campaigns to boost effectiveness
- Attend shows and training events
- Keep travel partners up to date with special offers
- First point of call for requests on promotional material, brochures and marketing support
- Stock take of brochures
- Arrange webinar training with partners or agents
Experience:
- Knowledge of the Caribbean, Mexico, Indian Ocean and the Middle East
- Strong understanding of retail travel and tour operators
- Analytical and organised
- Strong communicator with the ability to comfortably speak with suppliers
- Interest and knowledge of various social media sites
- Stay on top of industry developments
- Already established contacts and relationships within Travel Agents desirable
- Prior experience in business development beneficial
- Confidence in presenting to groups
- Good at building a strong rapport with airlines, travel agents, tourist boards and hotels
Hours:
Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm with the occasional evening
