Job Role:

You will be responsible for reporting on sales activity, organising company events and educational trips, management of the brochure and arranging training for new members of the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and provide analysis on these reports
  • Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to the sales manager and head of department
  • Arrange and coordinate travel agent events
  • Provide support to the on the road sales team
  • Keep in touch with agent partners throughout campaigns to boost effectiveness
  • Attend shows and training events
  • Keep travel partners up to date with special offers
  • First point of call for requests on promotional material, brochures and marketing support  
  • Stock take of brochures
  • Arrange webinar training with partners or agents

Experience:

  • Knowledge of the Caribbean, Mexico, Indian Ocean and the Middle East
  • Strong understanding of retail travel and tour operators
  • Analytical and organised
  • Strong communicator with the ability to comfortably speak with suppliers
  • Interest and knowledge of various social media sites
  • Stay on top of industry developments
  • Already established contacts and relationships within Travel Agents desirable
  • Prior experience in business development beneficial
  • Confidence in presenting to groups
  • Good at building a strong rapport with airlines, travel agents, tourist boards and hotels

Hours:

Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm with the occasional evening
