THE JOB
The enterprise solutions architect is responsible for IT architectural solution design and planning, delivering designs that describe the business, data, application, technology and security viewpoints of the intended solution.

Engaging in design prototyping, solution roadmap development, the enterprise solutions architect will act as the design authority, ensuring delivered solutions align to technology strategies.
Driving an innovative use of technology and creating an architecture vision and roadmap for the products you're working on, you'll deliver an appropriate IT response encompassing target systems architectures, system roadmap, application standards, and investment strategy, governing the compliance of project designs to EA principles.


ABOUT THE COMPANY
You'll be working with a very well-established Croydon-based tour operator which provides a broad range of travel options including river and ocean cruises, escorted tours and resort stays.


WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*Experience in Enterprise/Solution Architecture or Systems/Technical architecture roles
*Background in software engineering or systems integration/client solution implementation
*Experience managing solution architecture workstream projects
*Good understanding of strategic IT planning and Enterprise Architecture methodologies
*Strong technical skills in Azure cloud and Microsoft technologies
*Knowledge and architect-level exposure to wider systems/technology exposure (e.g. Finance systems, HR systems, CRM systems implementation, and integration)
*Strong understanding of delivery methodologies and IT service management
*Understanding of IT security domain for secure application development and application delivery
*Understanding of modern IT practices and capabilities (e.g. CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, microservices, API integrations, AI or machine learning)
*Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, AGILE or SCRUM) desirable
