Sales & Marketing Executive

The position will mean working to administrative deadlines and sales targets, representing the company at outside promotional events involving weekends and weekday overnights.
During the three-month induction period, training will be provided including an insight into the company’s marketing and communication strategy and a full product overview.


Line Management
The Sales & Marketing Executive will provide full administrative Sales and Marketing support reporting directly to the Trades Sales Support Manager.


Requirements

Reporting directly to the Trade Sales Support Manager, the following attributes will be required:
• A progressive approach with a flexible work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team, to prioritise and to work to tight deadlines, sometimes working beyond the standard office hours.
• Self motivated, organised and confident individual with a positive disposition and strong desire to succeed.
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Email.
• Full driving license and references.
• Professional Telephone Manner.
• Good Attention to detail.


Duties & Responsibilities
The Trade Sales Support Manager will manage, supervise and allocate the following duties and responsibilities to the Sales and Marketing Executive: -
• Assist with the registration of Tour Operators and Travel Agents and general database management.
• Assist with processing all Trade and external team requirements, including Brochure Requests, Promotional material & Marketing support.
• Assist with the organisation and administration for Cruise Shows.
• Producing e-blasts and internal & external trade mailings (Full Training will be given)
• Proofing marketing material from Tour Operators and travel agents for accuracy and compliance with corporate styling guidelines.
• Assistance with monthly Ship visit programme with the opportunity to attend and assist.
• Run reports on our inhouse system to support the sales team (Full training with be given).
• Weekly Checks of Tour Operators and Travel Agents websites to ensure all data is accurate.
• Ad hoc duties to support the Internal and External team.


Working Hours
Standard office hours are Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.30hrs.
