Leading Specialist Tour Operator, based in South Leicestershire is seeking a Travel Operations Assistant to work in a role co-ordinating with suppliers to ensure itineraries run smoothly. This suits you, if you have worked in the Travel Industry for a Tour Operator or in a travel role that is focused on organising, administration and supplier liaison! Competitive basic salary and excellent working hours!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Researching and sourcing new suppliers negotiating best possible rates, either on the internet or by phone.
- Booking entrance tickets to attractions, arranging meals at restaurants and other concierge requirements
- Liaising with the Finance team re making supplier payments either on line or over the phone
- Dealing with related administration and utilising in-house systems and Tour Plan

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have a background within the travel industry along with excellent English both written and spoken. Basic Word & Excel knowledge is required and knowledge of another language would be helpful but not essential.

THE PACKAGE:
A competitive starting salary is dependent on experience but within the region of £16k pa upwards and there are additional benefits available.
