Job Details
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Requesting and securing hotel reservations for groups
- Monitoring hotel deadlines, extending or cancelling as necessary
- Working closely with both the sales and operations department
- Making deposit and balance payments for hotels
- Checking that invoices are correct and process payment
- Request new rates from hotels
- Follow up with the hotel any concerns raised from groups returning from tour
- Make hotel arrangements for forthcoming inspection visits for groups leaders
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Be able to confidently speak French and possess good communication skills
- Experience in a travel, hotels, or tourism related role
- Be numerate and accurate - can confidently work with invoices
- Have excellent time management skills and possess excellent organisational skills
- Ability to build and develop relationships with colleagues and suppliers
- Be able to use own initiative and meet deadlines
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to changes in priority.
THE PACKAGE:
Excellent starting salary of £20000 pa along with additional benefits and Mon-Fri office hours. This is a growing specialist Tour Operator, so there is excellent long-term career potential.
