THE JOB
Reporting into the Head of Sales & Administration, the Sales & Operations Specialist will be responsible for reactive and proactive sales selling tours to customers. In addition to sales, you will take ownership of pre and post-departure enquiries, to include logistics, creating online brochures, travel documentation, all administration for the tours and also touching on the product.
Our client is a start-up tour operator who specialises in adventure tours, therefore they are looking to hire someone with an adventurous side to them, coming with experiences of your own where you have embraced a new adventure or culture.
As a Sales & Operations Specialist, you will have a proven background in sales where you have managed warm leads and followed up and converted travel enquires. You will also have good communication skills, where you will offer excellent customer service and suppliers. Given the nature of our client's business, the structure is very lean and you will be expected to help with other departments in an Adhoc basis, therefore you will need to open-minded and not have a "that's not my job" attitude.
You will have a tour operating background with a passion for adventure.

Our client is offering a £25,000 basic salary + commission, plus 25 days leave. The offices will also be relocating the Kingston within the next 12 months
