Travel Consultant - Tour Operator - Kent £19k plus commission

As a Travel Consultant you will be selling holidays to worldwide destinations to the general public and to travel agents. They are a rapidly expanding company within the travel industry with opportunities for full time Travel Consultants. They offer on the job training so previous travel and/or sales experience is not essential but would be advantageous.

Travel Consultant - Skills required

• Good telephone mannert essential.
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to talk with confidence
• Good communication skills

This job would suit someone wishing to pursue a career in sales as well as individuals interested in the travel and tourism industry.

Travel Consultant - Responsibilities and Tasks

• To ensure any incoming calls are answered promptly and dealt with to the best of ability.
• Respoding to emails from clients
• Responding to web enquiries from our clients on their website.
• To ensure you call back your quotes and chase any potential leads.
• Providing a web chat service to clients on the website.

The successful candidate will need good organisational skills, an excellent telephone manner and have the ability to work individually as well as part of a team. Full training will be given.
