Job Details
We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Tours Manager to join a fast-growing Inbound Travel Company out in Kent.
Duties:
*Liaising with new and existing clients to establish their needs, advise on best products and sell our services
*Attending trade events for students / prospective clients involving talks & presentations where needed.
*Preparing all quotations and handling any price negotiation
*Executing confirmed group bookings, from booking all tour services (liaising with hotels, coach companies, tour guides, tourist attractions) to providing confirmations and vouchers to the client to troubleshooting whilst the tour is underway.
*Maintaining existing and new customer/supplier relationships
*Ensure supplier performance is managed and excellent standards are maintained
*Oversee and develop departmental operations/systems to ensure high standards are maintained and streamlined where needed.
*Providing 24-hour emergency phone service as part of a duty rota
*Ad hoc duties as required
The person:
*You will have excellent interpersonal skills.
*2-3 plus years Travel Industry/Operational experience.
*Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
*Must be able to work autonomously and self-motivate.
The package:
Hours: Mon - Friday 9am - 5.30pm Flexibility is required in peak seasons and time in lieu is offered for any overtime worked.
Salary: £24,000pa + company bonus scheme
