A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Senior Marketing Executive to join this luxury River Cruise Tour Operator who offer unforgettable river cruises aboard award-winning ships sailing legendary rivers to the heart of Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.

Senior Marketing Executive - Luxury Cruise Operator - role and responsibilities

• Assisting Marketing Manager
• Ensuring all marketing output is representative of the brand
• Supporting with the briefing of creative design of promotional material; flyers, postcards, adverts, brochure etc. to external agency
• Assisting in writing and proof reading of all promotional materials, both in print and digital
• Working with the Marketing Manager to create and maintain a marketing communication calendar and commitment to meeting all marketing deadlines
• Working closely with Commercial to ensure Commercial and Marketing departments are aligned
• Assisting with proofing of travel agent marketing materials for marketing message accuracy
• Assisting with the internal communication of marketing communication to the Sales Team, Commercial, Reservations and PR
• Management of consumer brochure fulfilment
• Ordering and management of merchandise
• Ad hoc creation and alteration of creative pieces in Adobe InDesign / Photoshop
• Maintaining and updating the consumer database
• Awareness of competitor activity
• Ensuring they engage the end user with every marketing communication they create
• Assisting in maintenance of accurate co.uk and .eu websites
• Creation and management of distribution of regular email communications to travel agents
• Reporting and analysis of all eDM activity on a monthly basis
• Working with the Marketing Manager to develop their social media PR and Marketing strategy
• Implementing and managing communication through social media channels

Senior Marketing Executive - Luxury Cruise Operator - Experience

* At least 2 years in a similar role

* Experience of using an Email Service Provider (ESP) Platform (Benchmark or similar)

* Experience of Adobe InDesign or similar

* Database management and report running from a CMS - Salesforce would be ideal

* Creative / Copy Writing skills

* Experience in dealing directly with clients

* Familiar with briefing designers/agencies/printers
