THE JOB
This is a fabulous London based leadership opportunity for a highly experienced, senior events professional from the hotel/travel industry. In this exciting role, you will use your extensive international events experience to lead a department and successfully run your own portfolio of exceptional events from conception to completion, securing and sourcing new business partnerships. Additionally, you will work closely with the senior management team on strategic planning, line manage and mentor your own team, plus have financial management responsibilities and budgetary control.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic events manager with proven leadership abilities and a track record of delivering first-class international corporate events within the hotel/travel industry.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
* Proven senior event management experience gained within the hotel/travel industry and a track record of delivering high level, international corporate events
* Proven managerial experience including coaching, mentoring and team appraisals
* Excellent relationship building, maintaining and retention skills
* Highly literate and numerate with good MS Office suite knowledge, including Outlook
* Passion for events, sales and the travel industry
* Ability to travel to international events throughout the year
