Head of Operations
A fantastic role as part of the Leadership team for this successful and well respected specialist Operator. Overseeing the operational heart of the business, taking direct ownership of Sales, Flights and Holiday Operations.
As part of the Senior Management team, this is a great opportunity to deliver operational excellence and drive further success.
Managing all aspects of the holiday operations including Sales and Customer Service, Tour Leaders, Health & Safety and Flights, a key part of this role is delivering an operating model that delivers access to flights seats at competitive prices.
You will be experienced in leading negotiations with airlines, securing new opportunities and alternative solutions to maximise flexibility and reduce allocation risks. Working closing with the product teams to manage seasonal requirements and optimising the product offering through yield management and planning.
You will oversee the Sales and Customer Call Centre, to further build conversion, remove any barriers to sale drive continuous improvement and ongoing highest level of service and efficiency. Working with the existing, experienced team already delivering strong customer service, you will have a tight grip across all processes, delivering operational excellence across the holidays.
For this diverse role, we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, experienced in working with Airline contract and leading Airline relationships, able to lead key departments and provide confident decision making and project management skills.
At least 5 years in a travel role focused on Operations with experience in the changing world of flight technology, you will be experienced in managing teams in Customer Operations and developing strategic business plans.
