Asia Personal Travel Expert

Asia Travel Expert required for a luxury Surrey based tour operator, I am looking for the "crème de la crème" of Travel Sales Specialists for this niche role. You will be responsible for the whole customer journey from start to finish meaning you will be on hand to help your customer every step of the way during & post booking. As a valued member of the Asia specialist sales team you will be responsible for handling new enquiries, converting into sales an working towards sales targets. You will have the best Asia product knowledge in the industry, build relationships and deliver exceptional service to everyone of your customers.


THE JOB:
*Help manage and implement the annual direct marketing strategy for email and print using campaign management software, working closely with key stakeholders around the business including the Contracting and Trading teams.
*Manage processes for data handling, including subscription requests and opt-outs to ensure compliance with data regulation.
*Create best-in-class consumer and travel agent emails and dispatch through our email service provider
*Managing the customer from the beginning of their journey to when they come back and maintain and build repeat business.
*Ensure all colleagues within the specialist Asia team are kept informed of any problems or opportunities relating to our products, competitors and customers, as well as urgent issues inhibiting our ability to sell.
*Liaise with our suppliers to source rates, product and booking support for bespoke tailor-made enquiries to Asia.
*Working towards sales targets, upselling whilst following the company's "sales by service" process

EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
*You will be a proactive, confident and forward thinking individual, with excellent communication skills.
*You'll have the ability to work as on individual on your own initiative and manage own time and prioritise effectively, whilst also working as part of a team.
*First-hand travel experience across Asia.

DESIRABLE:
*Developed sales skills and proven track record of achieving personal sales targets within a retail travel environment.
*Knowledge of long haul travel
*Exceptional customer service

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a fantastic salary in the region of £22000.00 plus performance related pay which exceptional sales people have received in the region of £10k in commission plus great company benefits!
