Our client are specialists in the Corporate, Event, Lifestyle and Travel industry. They are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and strategic Business Development Manager to support the company’s growth within their travel division.

You will be working in a high pressured, fast paced environment, where you will be identifying and closing new business opportunities within the travel sector.


  • Responsible for prospecting new business
  • Source, develop and manage leads and partnerships
  • Manage your pipeline
  • Revenue generation
  • Identify campaign opportunities which will assist in the increase of sales
  • Effectively manage leads which will in turn help you to generate new business
  • Develop new business by prospecting, making sales calls, analysing the market and by attending trade shows & networking events
  • Manage new bids/tenders
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, both digitally and face to face
  • Create financial forecasting documents
  • Report both weekly and monthly conversion stats

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Min 2 years proven new business sales skills in a B2B environment
  • Prior experience in the travel sector with knowledge of both the Lifestyle and Events sectors
  • Experience in managing tenders
  • Track record in managing business services worth over £500,000 in client revenues
  • Experience of working closely with finance directors and procurement heads
  • Strong networking and presenting ability
  • Confident in working in a fast-growing SME
  • IT competency
