Global Sales Director
Global Sales Director - A fantastic opportunity to join a global travel business to lead their sales and account management function based out of London, although there is some flexibility around where this role could be based.
Global Sales Director Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading a global sales function with direct reports based in the Americas, Europe and APAC. You will be responsible for driving the team performance to achieve ambitious growth targets, selling in to the Leisure, Educational Travel and MICE sectors worldwide. You will work with the pricing, marketing and product teams to deliver compelling tenders, tactical sales and marketing campaigns and steering the product and contracting plans to ensure they are meeting customer needs. Along with other senior managers you will create the revenue and business plans as well as continually monitoring processes and best practice.
Global Sales Director Skills Required
- Must have a strong background of global sales experience (B2B) gained in the travel industry
- Experience of leading and driving the sales performance of remote teams
- Strong commercial and analytical skill set
- Highly motivated with a track record of exceeding targets
- Flexible to travel globally
Global Sales Director
A highly competitive basic salary dependent on experience (to be discussed on application) plus bonus and benefits.
The role will ideally be based in the London area with flexibility to work remotely as required but other locations will also be considered.
