About the Job
We're looking for a Tour Co-ordinator to join our Admin and Operations department. They’re a team of people who look after all aspects of a customer’s booking once it’s confirmed. You take over the booking and are the customer's main point of contact from then on.
This is a highly varied role combining administration, customer service and sales. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be:
- preparing and sending ATOL certificates and confirmation documents;
- booking car hire, transfers and other ground arrangements;
- advising on, selling and booking extras - lift passes, rentals, activities, etc.;
- dealing with changes and updates to bookings;
- Managing flight bookings and flight schedule changes in the GDS system and with flight consolidators.
- collating and sending out customer travel documents.
About you
You’ll have excellent attention to detail and a careful, thorough approach to work. A good telephone manner is required as we spend a lot of time on the phone talking with our customers. You must be a good team worker and have strong time and diary management skills. A passion for skiing or snowboarding and for travel in general would be very advantageous!
Salary
£20 - 24k per annum dependent on experience, plus generous company benefits including overseas travel to experience the product first-hand, a performance related bonus and company pension scheme.
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9 am-5:30 pm, with occasional 10 am-6:30 pm weekday shifts and 10 am-4 pm Saturday shifts. Additional hours are sometimes necessary during the busy winter period.
