AVIAREPS UK Ltd. is a subsidiary of AVIAREPS AG, a leading global travel and tourism representation company in 68 offices in 47 countries to more than 300 global tourism clients with over 750 staff worldwide. We're searching for an ambitious account manager to look after tourism client(s). We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience in the travel trade in the UK & Ireland with a good knowledge of project and events management.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude to work with exciting global tourist boards and hotel chains.

Main objectives:

  •  To represent a global clients in building greater brand awareness in the UK and Ireland
  •  Generate revenue growth for your clients and exceed KPIs set
  •  Develop trades sales, marketing and communications strategy for your account
  •  Assist in the development of PR and Social media strategies to support sales & marketing initiatives
  •  Assist in the development of PR & marketing campaigns
  •  Conceptualisation, development and execution of training, events, roadshows, sales missions, educational trips, etc.
  •  Development and execution of joint initiatives with trade partners
  •  Ensure client’s brand integrity is protected

Responsibilities

  •  Be the first point of contact for your clients
  •  Growing the brand awareness and revenue growth for your accounts
  •  Regular communications and meetings with the travel trade
  •  Develop, negotiate and execute joint-marketing and promotions with the trade
  •  Prepare presentations, promotional materials and training materials
  •  Development and execution of training, events, roadshows, sales missions, educational trips and projects
  •  Assist coordination and management of exhibition shows
  •  Creation of newsletters to the trade
  •  Creation of reports to include results of recent activities and insights
  •  Creation of trade promotional kits
  •  Regularly review and report on competition activities
  •  Participate in functions and networking events
  •  Creating and maintaining database
  •  Recommend promotions and incentives
  •  Analyse reports and recommend future initiatives
  •  Sourcing new business where possible for client and company
  •  Assisting in RFPs when required
  •  Translation of documents when required
  •  Participate in brainstorm sessions when required
  •  Some overseas travel

Experience & Skills

  •  Minimum 5 years’ experience in Trade sales & marketing
  •  Nurtured contacts with the travel trade and media
  •  Agency experience a strong plus
  •  Excellent Communications Skills
  •  Creative writing skills is desirable
  •  Projects, campaigns and events Management
  •  Good understanding of Social media
  •  Good organisational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task
  •  Negotiation skills
  •  Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
  •  Excellent time management
  •  Flexible and ability to travel abroad
  •  Must be fluent in English
  •  Fluency in another European language would be advantageous but not necessary
