Events Executive

Events Planner - Required for this established and expanding TMC based in a great location in central London. They are looking for an events planner who has worked for a TMC in a previous job within their events team with strong flight knowledge ideally using Galileo. They will pay up to £16-18ph dependant on experiance. This is a temp position.

Events Planner Duties:
-Creation of Proposals for UK and Worldwide events
-Venue finding and liaison
-Supplier Negotiations
-Arranging necessary travel and accommodation
-Creation of, and working to, budgets
-On-site assistance
-Production of client confirmations & contracts
-Responsibility from initial enquiry to completion of project
-Attend client meetings & presentations
-Other ad-hoc event duties including administrative support where necessary
-Booking worldwide flights using galileo

Event Planners Skills Required
-Operational experience of handling group bookings to include initial brief, budgeting, directing the event, on-site presence and debriefing with client
-Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Good knowledge of Event Management Tool (GRATIS preferred but training will be given)
-An in-depth knowledge of Galileo CRS, Group Fares (ticketing experience preferred but not essential)
-Knowledge of Venue & Hotel Finder tools e.g. Venue Directory, Conferma
